Chaitanya Jagarlapudi – Founder
Chaitanya is the Founder of RW Investment Advisors LLP. He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Madras and holds an MBA from Indian School of Business. He is extremely passionate about public market investing and applied-tech in improving investing outcomes. He has about 15 plus years experience in capital markets including investing in public and private markets. His last role was as VP managing $ 300 MM at Argonaut Private Equity; a diversified global private equity fund with more than $6 bn AUM. He built Pivotapp – an algorithmic investing tool that combines formulaic investing with momentum and helped in building algorithms to automate investing in mutual funds. His previous positions include working as an Investment Banker at Lazard and was an Equity research Analyst at Irevna (CRISIL).
Bismith Nayak, Principal Officer
Bismith’s role as the Principal Officer is to understand companies without any bias for sectors and sizes. He is responsible for continuously evaluating and understanding portfolio companies both through primary and secondary research. Previously he was an Associate with Tech Mahindra, where he researched private equity, venture capital and M&A deals across industries and geographies. He holds a Master of Commerce degree from Ness Wadia College of Commerce and is a rank holder in CS. He enjoys discussions on technology, behavior, literature and history and is an avid Counter Strike fan.
Sarang Sanil, Compliance Officer and Analyst
Sarang is actively involved with client on-boarding, risk profiling, KYC audit etc. and making sure the operations are compliant with the regulatory requirements. On the research side, he is focused on IT and Technology sector primarily, where he analyses and diligently keeps track on the companies in his radar. In addition to that, he also keeps track of key names in logistics and consumer sectors. Having completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from Christ University, Sarang is also an associate member of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He is a national-level table tennis player and loves to spend a few hours every week on his training. He is also a cinephile and enjoys films across genres and languages.
